Wakooz uses OAuth to connect and access your Facebook and Twitter accounts


OAuth What? OAuth allows you the User to grant Wakooz to access to your private resources on Facebook and Twitter. *** Without having to give us your Usernames and Passwords ***

Who make sure it is safe? The secured access to your accounts is provided and handled by Facebook and Twitter.

How does it work? Upon registration with Facebook API and Twitter API, Wakooz was issued APIs Keys and Applications Secret Keys. When you connect to Wakooz with Facebook Connect for example, Facebook verify the Wakooz Facebook API Key and Application Secret Key and then issue Wakooz a session Token for your account. For the session duration or until you revoke the granted access you will be able to browse and modify your Facebook account via Wakooz.

Note that for happier browsing we may store the session token to the Wakooz database.
