What information do we collect? When you registered to Wakooz you provided us with the following information about yourself : Email, Username, Password, Country, City, Age group, Country, Sex and we may have gathered your ip address.
Why? The username and password to secure the access to your account and your email to help you in case you forget your Username and/or Password. Country, City, Age group and Sex to know more about you and hopefully help us provide you with a better service. Your IP address to redirect if needed and it could as well be useful to block you if you behaved badly...
We guarantee that your personal info will never be sold or used to send you any junk mail.
wakooz uses OAuth to connect and access your Facebook and Twitter acounts
OAuth What? OAuth allows you the User to grant Wakooz the access to your private resources on Facebook and Twitter. *** Without having to give us your Usernames and Passwords ***
How does it work? Upon registration with Facebook API and Twitter API, Wakooz was issued APIs Keys and Applications Secret Keys. When you connect to Wakooz with Facebook Connect for example, Facebook verify the Wakooz Facebook API Key and Application Secret Key and then issue Wakooz a session Token for your account. For the session duration or until you revoke the granted access you will be able browse and modify your facebook account via Wakooz.

Note that for happier browsing we may store the session token to the Wakooz database.
On a final note if your are concern about the privacy level of your personal data such as profile infos, pictures, videos etc... we stronly advise that you read the Facebook and Twitter privacy policies and reviews your privacy setting.
